Brand History

• 2004

  Founded

  polur.net was founded when the web was still in its infancy. We started as a basic shared hosting provider, advertising on popular forums for website owners at the time, such as NamePros and Web Hosting Talk.

• 2007

  Website Refresh

  We refreshed our website with lighter colors, better graphics and still supporting an expandable 3-panel table layout.

• 2010

  Brand change to polur.net

  We renamed our brand from polurnet to polur.net to make it more memorable and easier to find. Our website was changed from its previous dated layout to reflect web 2.0 standards at the time.

• 2015

  Updated Website

  We fully redesigned our website to make it less busy and more colorful. This also resulted in us dropping the cartoonish polar bear mascot to a modern polar bear that reflected our brand colors.

• 2021

  New Responsive Website

  A complete redevelopment inspired by our past. We took the best elements from our former website to make a brand new, clean, modern, responsive website that adapted to current web standards, and accessible on a variety of different devices. Same logo, fresh look. We also finally consolidated our billing/support systems into one interface called myPolur.
